Totally Accurate Counter
A joke timer that still counts seconds, but lets reality run faster, slower, or suspiciously sideways through funny real-life time presets.
Totally Accurate Counter
It counts real seconds, except the seconds have moods. Choose a life situation, press start, and watch one minute become whatever reality feels like today.
Washing Machine Minute
One minute remaining, according to a machine with unfinished business.
The counter is currently operating at government approved second speed.
How it works
Pick a preset, press start, and the counter runs a sixty-second countdown using a different emotional speed curve. The number still counts seconds, but those seconds behave like a washing machine, a phone battery, a loading bar, a deadline, or whatever else is currently lying to you.
It is intentionally local, tiny, and useless in the correct way. There is no tracking, no server state, and no real timing promise beyond the joke.
Why I built this
Some minutes are not sixty seconds long. A microwave's last ten seconds, a washing machine's final minute, and a phone's last five percent all obey their own physics. This tool gives those fake physics a proper control panel.
Favorite modes
- Washing Machine Minute slows down near the end until hope becomes a subscription.
- Phone Battery Honesty races at full charge and becomes immortal below five percent.
- Loading Bar 99% reaches almost done immediately, then starts negotiating.
- Manual Delusion Dial lets you name your own relationship with time.
