## How to play

Guess the Country is a free browser game where you identify a country from the shape of
its borders alone — no flags or labels on the map.

1. Pick a highlighted mystery border on the world map, or press Random.
2. Read the continent and size hints in the side panel.
3. Type the country's name or pick it from the panel, then press Guess.
4. A correct guess fills the border in its continent colour and grows your streak.
5. Zoom and pan the map to inspect tiny island nations.

There are 235 playable countries and territories across six continents (Africa, Asia,
Europe, North America, South America, Oceania), 17 achievements, and streak/accuracy
tracking. It is free, needs no login, and works on mobile and desktop. Progress is saved
locally in the browser.

## FAQ

**How is it different from Worldle or flag games?** You guess from the border outline on a
zoomable map rather than from a flag or a daily satellite location, and you can free-play
every border instead of a single daily puzzle.

**Is it free?** Yes — no login, no download, no paywall.

**Can I play on mobile?** Yes — the map is responsive with drag-to-pan and zoom.
